Cole's Putting Lessons

We are trying to teach Cole the concept of putting. He still makes his full swing on the putting green, so we are trying to show him the smaller, more gentler putting stroke. It may take a while...

Golf Cart

Grandma and Buck got Cole a Jr golf cart. He is obsessed with it. And for a kid that isnt even 2 years old, he can fully drive/steer the cart. With his clubs on the back he is ready to start playing!

Cole's new and future girlfriend

My college roommate is visiting Hilton Head with her family. Cole has been hanging out with her 2 1/2 year old daughter Paula Grace...Cole is in love! It is destined to be a future marriage. It has been so wonderful having play dates with them everyday. We have been swimming in the pool, dancing at Salty Dog cafe, and visiting the animals at Lawton Stables petting zoo. What a fun week...it will be awful when they leave. Heart break!

Mulching with Daddy

Ryan mulched the backyard and of course Cole wanted to be right along side Daddy helping...

Lawton Stables with Elliott

Before the weather gets too hot and humid in HHI, we did another trip to Lawton Stables petting zoo. This time we went with our buddy Elliott and Jennifer Witmer.

Morning Rain

Cole wants to be outside no matter what is happening with the weather. After it rained one morning we put his rain boots on and let him splash in the puddles. Puddles are a favorite!

Swimming Lessons

Cole enjoyed a month of swimming lessons when his Canadian buddy Colton came to Hilton Head. Colton is his godmother, Suzanne's nephew. He was a little hesitant at first but after just a couple of lessons he is now kicking and jumping right into the water from the side. The summer will be filled with many days at the pool and beach.

Heritage 2010 Pro-Am

Buck played in the 2010 Pro-Am at the Verizon Heritage. They played with Bo Van Pelt, who at first everyone wasnt that thrilled about getting paired with, but he turned out to be a great guy. When I arrived at hole 16 with Cole, he immediately came over and gave Cole a high five. He has 3 children, and was very cute with Cole. Cole absolutely loved running out onto the fairway and holding hands with Buck down the 18th. It was priceless to watch!
GO BO at the tournament!!

Easter Day Brunch

For Easter Day we went to Tide Pointe for Easter brunch. Since I only sit for about 5 minutes I played outside most of the time. After brunch we went back to Grandma and Bucks house for Easter dinner. It was a great Easter!

Easter Egg Hunt

Cole participated in the Easter Egg Hunt at Wexford. Although I wasnt sure if he was actually going to run out and get any eggs because he was too obsessed with the golf cart. But when it started he did go out and get some eggs, and wanted to put others in the golf holes on the putting green. He unfortunately didnt like the Easter Bunny once we got close so we dont have a picture of him on the lap. Hopefully next year!

Matt and Katie's Couples Baby Shower

Matt and Katie flew in for Easter weekend and we threw them a couples baby shower. It was an awesome party and such a great weekend with them here. I miss them! We are very excited for Baby Soldo (either Sophia or Isabella) to arrive, due date June 14th!

St Patties Day Parade

Cole loved watching the parade this year. He constantly clapped and cheered as the floats went by.

First Hair Cut

Cole had his first hair cut the Friday before Easter. On the way there my parents and I wanted to make a bet that he would cry, but we all thought he would. He proved us all wrong and did great. I have never seen him sit still for so long. I think the main trick was the lollipop I gave him, great advice to those who told me to do that.

Golf

Cole is absolutely obsessed with golf. Grandma went out and bought him a set of 3 real clubs...of course only used outside. As soon as Cole goes outside he goes straight to the tee box in front of our house with his clubs and begins hitting balls. He actually has a good grip and half swing and makes good contact...eventually he will understand alignment. For now we cant keep him from playing. Inside he has his plastic set that he swings around the house.

Music Class

Every Thursday Aunties Frannie is taking Cole to music class. He seems to be the only kid that never sits down...shocker. But he is showing a great interest in music, so hopefully that will continue on. Although in the one picture he is trying to make a break for it and escape the room.

HHI Snow Day- Jan 2010

Hilton Head hosts a Snow Day each year at Shelter Cove park, and they make snow for us to play in. I had so much fun watching the snow being made and playing in it....at least until I fell face forward in the snow and realized how cold it is! I need to get prepared for when I go up north to visit Nana and Grampa! It was great seeing my buddy Bryce Stephenson and meeting a new friend Hudson. My favorite part was dancing and eating a soft pretzel.

Christmas 2009

I had a wonderful Christmas with my family. Uncle Matt and Aunt Katie came to HHI from California, and I am very excited for my cousin to arrive. I received so many great presents, even though I didnt like visiting santa.
